With this mod installed, Alduin now has 4 different stages during his boss fight, with each stage as hard as the last, truly making Alduin live up to his title as World Eater. Then I saw this mod on Youtube and I just had to have it. World Eater Beater: Have you ever fought Alduin and thought, "Wow. Well now, not only can you have those back, but even if you aren't a vampire, you can have dreams! With this mod, you can have 36 skill-related dreams with light relevant buffs, 10 nightmares for both vampire/werewolf and non-vampire/werewolf characters, 14 dreams that can slowly turn to nightmares if you've completed any daedric quests, and 1 nightmare for the Waking Nightmare quest in Dawnstar. The Dragonborn Dreams: I've seen tons of people talking about how they miss the vampire nightmares from Oblivion. With a similar look to the Guy Fawkes mask, with the addition of a hood and horns, as well as a female counterpart, this replacer gives the mask a sense of mystery and intrigue. Then I saw this and it's all I wanted in what the mask should look like. But the look of the mask never really impressed me. It's one of my favorite quest items and part of one of my favorite quests. Masque of Clavicus Vile: Now, don't get me wrong. I have just found them and wanted to share my findings for anyone else to review.Īfter some filtering, I've found a couple of mods I think some players would appreciate I have not downloaded and tried these mods. My eyes wandered to the hot mods section and I says to myself, I say, "Why not? Let's see what's good." And did I find some! Tho, over the last few years I've used ordinator as it's a nice middle ground between big perk overhaul and compatibility.Īs per the usual of a Skyrim modder, I was looking through the Nexus for anything noteworthy to add to my modlist. In my opinion Perma is still the best perk overhaul with how many cool ideas it had that to this day have never been tried again in other mods. I felt like they changed the game in interesting ways and offered a lot of build variety that you don't get with other new perk mods. I started modding Skyrim back when Skyrim Redone and Perma where big, it was a little tedious, but I enjoyed it. What the hell is up with all the vanilla+ mods? Almost all of the new perk mods are just vanilla+ mods. Plus they are all third person, I only play in first, not a lot of mods for first person combat.Ģ. It's just that type of combat doesn't work all that well in Skyrim and at best you're just playing a cheep dark souls clone. I guess to start I don't like souls games, I find them highly overrated and more gimmicky than difficult. For the love of all that is good, can we stop with all the dark souls inspired combat mods? If that's how you like to play, have at it, it's your game after all. On the flip side what's something you'd like more of. This is, of course very subjective, but, what are somethings that have become popular in Skyrim modding that you either don't like or wish people would stop doing.
